Currently on holiday in Gran Canaria and return home on Saturday. I have been looking for any cheap flights to leave Manchester/Liverpool on Boxing Day for 5 nights. I was just wondering if anybody has ever just turned up at the airport on the day, gone to an airport sales desk and asked for a cheap flight to any destination and actually got a bargain. Or alternatively had a couple of destinations in mind say for example Alicante or similar and gone to a few sales desks and again picked up a bargain this way.
