any one been to the Tusan hotel in kusadasi, whats the beach, food and surrounding area like. thanks .
Reviews here for you:
When are you going, we go in two weeks time and have read some great report
thinking of going in september.
any info travelling monday see health and safety message
we didn't however like kusdasi itself very much.
Just booked for next year has anyone been to this hotel, would be grateful for any info
Hi Jooley we have booked for next Sept
We stayed at this hotel about 2 years ago and had a lovely time. The hotel doesn't look much on first impression because it is fairly old. But when you go inside the reception and lobby area are lovely. The swimming pools look straight on to the beach and the veiw from the hotel bedrooms are mostly mountain and seaviews. The ground around the hotel are immaculate with plenty of sunbeds we never had to get up early to reserve one though we did go at the beginning of September. The beach was sandy and the sea was gently shelving though in some areas there were boulders in the water so you have to watch where you walking once your a little way out then you are ok.
The food in the hotel was ok some people moaned about it I will try anything it isn't typically English plenty of salady bits and a few hot dishes and chips were always on the menu. For a change you could use the 2 restaurants which were both nice one was fish and the other was turkish.
The entertainment wasn't up to much just the normal type of turkish human which the Germans and Russians seem to enjoy. There was plenty to do during the day if you wanted. Watersports were available on the beach non motorized one were free for a hour a day.
The location of the hotel is a little isolated there are a few shops and restaurants a short walk away, but for a larger choice you can catch a dolmus for about 50p to Kusadasi with loads of shops and bars etc. The dolmus run about every 5 mins outside the hotel so it is very easy to get around. There is also one that takes you to the waterparks nearby.
If there is anything else you need to know feel free to ask.
Joanne
for all your info really helpful. Can you tell me if there's lots for teenagers to do? We have only just booked and have ages to wait as we dont go until July next year. I'm sure we will think of more questions by then. Thanks again
Enjoy yourselves Joanne
Thanks Joanne, we are going with friends so there will be four boys aged 15,14,13 and 9, glad to see the pool tables are free as we have just come back from Sharm in egypt and thats all they did at night. They have already been asking if there's any water parks as they love the water. We picked this hotel as the child prices were upto 16 as usually they are 12 for AI, it works out good value for us.
Hi Jooley when are you going? We go Sept next yr 6 Adults 3 kids aged 16yrs 13yrs 5yrs
Hi, Celine we are going 8th july next year so will be able to give you some info when we get back. We have booked with first choice and think we got a good deal with 3 of the kids being over 12. Pity we are not going same time as kids are nearly same age.
Hi Jooley we go the 20th Sept with first choice got all our kids free so we got a bargain, i'll look forward to your report when you return i know its a long way off but its something to look forward to hope you all have a lovely time. Thanks Marionx
We were at the Tusan a few years ago, can`t review it as it was too long ago, but wondered if Martin and Freddy`s restaurant is still there opposite the entrance to the hotel drive? Their food was really good, we ate there a lot, as we were on B&B. Loved the beach, although a little on the narrow side, sea was nice and clean, and we adored Kusadasi!
I know im inpatient waiting for reports to be written
We are going to this hotel in Sept for 2 weeks and wondering what it is like this year?
Ie read the reports from last yr and all good ones
But things can change
Any info will be gratefull
I know one holiday truths person was going over 2 weeks ago but i can not find her name anywere
She did say to me that she would put a review on when they were back
But nothing been added
We went to Sun Club City 1st week in May 2006 and it was nothing like we had read on here
Still good though we enjoyed it
But im wary now has we picked the Tuscan Beach due to reading reports
Whatever its like we will enjoy ourselves has we always do
The hotel is very clean and well looked after, the air con and room safes are free of charge and the rooms are kept very clean.
We went A I and there are no restrictions on drinks at all, Your Evening meal is a kind of buffet system with a fair choice of food but after two weeks you might be ready for a change, but there are snack bars around the hotel serving things like burgers ect ,to turkish food so if you dont like the food in one resturant you wont starve.
The location of the hotel is in the Pine Bay area it cost us 1.5 Tl to go into Kusadasi and 3tl into Sulcheck a really nice Turkish town nearby.
There are also 2 water parks just down the road.
The evening entertainment inside the hotel was dire it was a woman singing who sounded like Rene's wife on allo allo but dont worry because the annimation team put on a good show in the outside theatre.
I hope this has been of some help to you and put you mind at rest.
