Me and hubby are planning our trip for next year. This year, we went to Praia da Rocha for a week at the beginning of the season, then to Albufiera later in the season.

We love Albufiera, but don't think we could do 2 weeks there, so this year, I want to go DIY, get dropped off at Albufiera (Villanova hopefully), then after a week, get a taxi to another resort where we can spend our second week.

Obviously, we have the first week more or less worked out, but can anyone think of a second resort? It needs to be a bit busy, but not as much as Albufiera. Praia da Rocha was perfect, but I think its a bit far out. We love lazing on a nice beach in the days, and some busy bars and good food on the night.
