Hi all.
I am wanting to travel to Kiev in the Ukraine for a week in October. I have never been abroad before and have no idea where to start. My closest airport is Durham Tees Valley (Teesside) but I could only find flights that stop in amsterdam from there. Are there any operators that have direct flights to Kiev?

There aren't too many flights from the UK to Kiev, certainly not from regional airports. Your closest is likely to be Heathrow I'm afraid. British Airways offer a scheduled service (you should be able to get connecting flights from Teeside) and Ukraine International Airlines have one flight per week.

probably a bit late now but Wizzair do flights to Kiev and Lvov from Luton Airport.
