Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help. Im planning to go MANCHESTER TO LOS ANGELES on 7 Jan to 11 Jan and dont know what airline to use. Ill be flying economy and im a member of diamond club so could use both bmi and US and get miles. Which one is the best does anyone know, in terms of meals, entertainment etc. Has anyone had any probs with any of them? Also anybody used Chicago or Philladelphia when using connecting flights? I think bmi connect with United does anyone think there would be any probs with luggage etc.
I would be very greatful if you could give me your opinion

I'd go with whoever is the cheapest!
I have connected with United at Chicago. It was ok i guess - although baggage from UK flight had to be picked up and then re-checked for onward.
United reasonable but nothing to write home about. 777 to Chicago and then AB320 down to Vegas. Mileage (FF) allocation of points quite good - and up grade options at check in were offered on our flights to premium economy equiv' at reasonable rate.
