Unfortunately not - you have to be a guest at the hotel in question to use its swimming pool or gym facilities.
You can, however, use any hotels bars, restaurants, shops etc, even if you are not a guest there.

Thanks Elaine, that was what I suspected. Good to know about the other facilities though.
