Is it possible? I've spent the best part of an hour tyring to find out whether it's possible to get to Valencia by train from Benidorm (we were thinking of a day trip).
Can anyone advise please?

I don't think it is possible by train. The line is very limited.
You can get an ALSA bus from the bus station.

you would have to get a train to Alicante then get a train from another station in Alicante to Valencia
This subjet was covered a while ago and the best way was to book a day trip through one of the tour operators.ie Thomsons or Thomas Cook.
