We are planning a trip to either Seville or Valencia in mid March for a joint birthday celebration with another couple, and are torn between the two. We all enjoy a bit of culture and lots of bars and restaurants. We all loved Palma and Barcelona and are looking for something similar and a bit Spanish too.
Any advice appreciated - we probably need to fly from a Midlands airport at a weekend
Thanks
Pat
Both of these events will impact on the price of accommodation. You will probably find that prices will have gone through the roof. This is the reason we are going there in the autumn instead of the spring, because I could not find reasonably priced apartments or hotels.
I would recommend Seville - lots to see, and with all the orange trees and Moorish architecture it's not hard to imagine yourself a good 300 miles further south! Unfortunately this town has always profitted from tourism so it isn't cheap - but it is worth paying more to stay in the town centre.
