Haven't got any recent experience of the VE, we stayed there February 2003 when I believe the hotel was fairly new.

It was the best hotel we've ever stayed in Goa, we were B&B and the breakfasts were very good.
We've tried to go back there since but won't go AI.

hi the victor is a ok hotel .stayed thier march 2005 .only problem i found was thier aint no fridge .if like me and the ho we do like a cold tiple late evening .but you can ask on request for one .@ extra cost .rooms are large and can say they are cleaned to a good standard .only set back i had during hower stay was a bloked drain to the shower on the first day that was put right straight away .we to are back thier in late march not that we like all inc and probley not bother eating thier .

We stayed at the VE last November through First Choice and really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean. Towels changed daily ~ with lovely towel art ~ bed linen changed every other day. Staff were friendly without being over familiar and nothing was too much trouble. We had requested a fridge when we booked, but were told on arrival that they do not provide fridges. Mind you, I have recently read on a report somewhere that this happened to another holidaymaker, yet they managed to find one straight away?? Hey ho ~ it was no big problem.
Good location. Everything easily accessable. Pool clean, but sun beds a bit packed together. Bar area next to pool was OK but table cloths were not changed very frequently and were a little grubby.
The hol only came as AI and the food was adequate, but we only ate there for breakfast and a couple of evening meals when we were too relaxed to go out again. All in all a good stay and would use it again. PM me if I can be of any more help. Maz.
