We are thinking of booking 11 nights at the Victoria Palace in June.

Anyone stayed there that can offer some advice on its location, etc?

We have reviews HERE. The Victoria Palace is mentioned many times in this forum in various topics. If you use the Search facility at the top of the page you should get 5 pages of results.

One result was details of the location of another hotel which is near the VP.

About 1.3-1.5 kilometres, judging by the scale of THIS MAP - the Majestic is in Sector 'F', between the Victoria Palace & Fiesta Beach, while the Barcelo Royal Beach is in Sector 'D' on the site of the old Saturn.

The Victoria Palace Hotel would be approx 25 minutes from the center of the resort, but the mini trains last stop is right outside the hotel and last year it cost 2 leve on the train to the centre. The hotel is also right on the sea front.

You'll find the Victoria Palace located in Sector 'F' of THIS MAP, around 1.5/1.6 kilometres from the centre of the resort.

As tgilmour says, it's right by the sea front/beach.

It's still relatively early in the season for Bulgaria, so 2008 reviews for any hotel are likely to be fairly scarce at the moment.

Perhaps you would be good enough to post your views about the hotel in our Hotel Reviews section when you return from your holiday in September?

we met up with friends on their last 3 days of holidays, they was at victoria palace and loved it and not surprised, when you go in and see it omg looks like you need to be a millionaire to stay there. The pool is fabulous. the beer is 5 lev for a big one but on a night at 9 it bogof lol. They said the food was ok most of their stay. They said they want to go back so cant be that bad.

They also met Berbatov the Bulgarian footballer lol my hubby was so jelous he missed him lol
