My wife and I are looking to rent a villa for the first time in Fuerteventura. We are great fans of Lanzarote, particularly the Faro Park area of Playa Blanca as we prefer a quiet slightly out of town villa with its own heated pool. We will generally visit Lanza 2-3 times per year, we last visited in April. This time I fancy the idea of a change of scenery for September and my brief research suggests Caleta de Fuste is similar to Playa Blanca with manys villas just out of town.

I'd like to know if anyone can offer any advice on:

A good website to rent a villa (I'll book my flights).
Areas to avoid and what to watch out for.
Is the airport noise bearable - is there another resort you would recommend?

I've tried one or two well known sites but so many villa owners don't seem to bother to keep their availability calendar updated - frustrating when you find something, believe it's available only to be told it's not!
