We are travelling to Olu Deniz on the 26th June for the first time. I bank with the Halifax and I have a Visa Electron card, I spoke to the Halifax last night and they have lifted the international restrictions on my bank card for the duration of the holiday but I can only use the card in ATM's that accept Visa Electron.
Can anyone advise if there are any ATM's in Olu that accept Visa Electron?
Cheers,
Zoso
PS - Mods - I have put this in the money thread and received no reply's, hence the new thread!
I'd have thought if it's a Visa card most machines will take them. There are lots of cash machines in Olu Deniz, helpfully there are about 4 right next to each other at the Dolmus stop near the beach.
I use mine no problem in Icmeler with all different machines, sorry dont know about Olu but I would think they will all be the same.
The Turkish bank machines seem far more efficient and versatile that our own! Each one I've put my card in tells me my name and automatically starts showing in English.
Thanks for your help hopefully it should work - we are going AI and I am taking £500 in cash anyway so hopefully won't need to lift much if any!!
