visas by post (not allowed)?

just been on the hic web site and it says visa applications arent being accepted by post, you have to go to one of a list of accredited travel agents in the vicinity of the hic . does anyone know what to do if you live hundereds of miles away . ?

check Edinburgh I think they will accept applications from Newcastle but e mail or phone them first

I live in County Durham and post then to Edinburgh- no problems.

Only problem I can forsee this year is that EVERYONE will be posting to Edinburgh, so post early for Goa.
