Hi
Going to Gumbet in mid may staying at the Royal Asarlik Beach hotel, can anyone tell me whether the sea will be warm enough to swim in, also can anyone recommend a local tour operator for day trips out.
John.
*Edit to Gumbet Briar
We've been to Gumbet a few times, most recently was last July 06. We used "Queen Tours" on the main Street, up past Bar St and down to the left, near Smillies and Roxy bars. They were very good, friendly, knowledgeable and a good deal if you book a few trips together, eg you can get a free boat trip or a trip to Turgatreis Market if a few of you book a 'main trip'. We booked a day trip to KOS and went on the hydrofoil which was much quicker.
But there are loads of 'agents' on the Gumbet main strip and down by the beach, so shop around and DON'T book at the first one, compare prices and deals on offer.
Ray.
