Friends of ours stayed in this very apartment a couple of years ago.If you know Paphos it's along past the Paradise Gardens complexes, past Pambis diner and the original Walnut Grove complex. There was a new complex being built at the time just past here, take the turn right at the end of this and Walnut Grove 2 is just at the bottom of the road.
thanks for the info we havnt been to cyprus before just wondered if it was near to ammenites shops bars etc
Walnut Grove 2 is on the edge of a large area of many complexes called Universal. This area is kind of "boxed in" between 4 main roads and sits on the opposite side of a dual carriageway from the main tourist area.It also spreads away from the upper town area of Paphos and Walnut Grove is probably the furthest away. However,it's only a 10 minute flat walk(15 minute stroll) to reach the dual carriageway which is easy enough to cross, and another 5-10 minutes to the start of the main tourist area. You can either follow the road to the left walk once you cross the dual carriageway and a short path which will bring you to the Almyra hotel which is on the main coast road into the harbour which is only 5 minutes away. From around this hotel there are countless amounts of bars and restaurants all the way into the harbour.
From the dual carriageway again,if you go straight then take a slight right you'll eventually come to the edge of Bar Street.Don't be put off by most of the comments about this area,it can be an area to avoid at the height of summer due to it being full of drunk youngsters, but at the beginning and of the street there's some decent restaurants so have a wander round here in the early evening before the loud banging music starts.
As for supermarkets, there's a small one round the corner where you'll get most things but will be more expensive than the larger ones.If you are hiring a car then there are plenty to chose from, several are pretty close but might just be too far when carrying a few heavy bags.
Don't know if i've helped or confused you!!
