the Canada hotel is owned and managed by a member of this forum..she is Canadian..and this hotel is great..in a nice place and well run.
i can wholly recommend both the hotel and the locality.

Hi, I went to Olympos 2 years ago. If ı am not mistaken it was Kadir camping.Really nice place but our treehouse was just near a bar( or a kind of a disco), all night long there was rock music - no chance to sleep.
And as for walks- I loved walking to Yanardag- fire that comes from the mountain. I walked there twice very high and long way- but worths it- breathtaking and I loved the smell I guess it comes from the trees. Did you notice?

Thanks for replies everyone - it sounds like Olympos is as lovely as ever, so we won't be disappointed. Also thanks for hotel recommendations - I guess i was looking for a slightly budget/pension type place to stay - but still clean and quiet for the children -but I realise that it is not that expensive at the Canada for most people. I would love to stay in the Canada, particularly the bungalows i saw on their website, but as we are on tight budget we were looking for other options - unless Carrie wants to do us a deal?!!

Just a couple of notes. Firstly the famous Kadir's treehouse had a major fire last Feb and 90 % of the establishment was burnt down in an electrical fire. Sad news

Also staying in Olympos if you remember is a minimun of a 10 minute walk to the beach through the ruins. One of the closest to the beach on the Olympos side of the mountian is Bayrams treehouses. Kadirs place was at least a 20 min walk to the beach. And like one of the other posters said Olympos tends to be the more rowdy party place.

Secondly there are a wide range of hotels and pansiyons in Cirali that vary in prices and I am sure that you can find one within your budget. Our hotel is pretty much the average going price but there are other also available that are either higher or lower in price than ours. Our's is a bit higher because we also have the pool and higher running costs than ones without.

Why don't you send me a PM in regards to your budget and I might be able to find you a place to fit within your limits. Or you could try a google search for Cirali.
