My wife and I returned on Saturday Morning to East Midlands Airport
from a great holiday in Dassia, Corfu.

When we collected one of our suitcases from the arrivals carousel we
found that the padlock had been removed and the suitcase had been opened. Although the inside of the case had obviously been sifted through,
nothing had been stolen.

When we went to the Serviceair desk to report this, there were other people in the queue from the same flight who had experienced the same
problem. Some of these people had had valuables stolen, so we were
lucky - we only lost a padlock!

The policeman who was stood alongside the Serviceair desk confirmed
that there were quite a few incidents from Corfu planes over the last few days.

We flew with Kosmar Holidays and plane was run by Slovakian Airways.

I can only think that Corfu Airport are currently employing some dodgy
baggage handlers.

Please be aware, and don't leave anything of great value in your suitcase.
