I have done a search on the forum for you and can't find any info. Going by that I would assume that watches are not a bargain there. But I'm sure others will chip in here.

I got a Rolex for £3. OK, it wasn't in the box and the strap makes my wrist go green but they tell me that can happen with Rolexes!

If you know what you are after and are flying via bahrain then have a look at the duty free in there - take in mind you will only have 45mins-60mins browsing time during the fuel stop.
Nice one Roma !

Titan watches are the best Indian watches, they have two lovely air conditioned showrooms in Panjim. Watches are very good quality, come in all kinds of styles from everyday use watches to stylish evening watches.
Also in Panjim there is another watch/jewellery shop (can't remember the name), it's around 18th June Road area. They sell really lovely stuff in there including Espirit watches.
Hope this is of some use.

My hubby is majorly into his watches so we had a look whilst out there last month..you can get very very cheap fakes but they do look very cheap and are as light as a feather, one stall was selling Tag Heur's for 280 rupees, they looked like something out of a xmas cracker!

I presume in Panjim city you have more chance finding something.

Titan watches are sold by Guru's in Candolim, as mentioned by a earlier post, these are some of the best watches in India

Generally all the watches are fakes ( :swear good ones mind) all the usual suspects are there rolex, gucci, D&G etc etc

Normally they are around £20-£30 however you do take a chance on how long they last, out of 3 i have had 1 fail as i got off the plane :( another last about 2 months and the latest has lasted about 18 months. So buyer beware.

If you are just after a fake watch then try "Original Fakes" opposite Annapurna Bar and Elephant Shop in Candolim, I bought a "Rolex" there over 12 months ago for about £20, I wear it every day, shower, (also every day!) swim, sleep etc, it still looks like new, keeps perfect time, also, which is something that couldn't be said abour a real one that I did have and would now cost approx £3400. But you pays your rupees and takes your chances !!!
