Pretty sure this question has been asked previously, but I'm afraid I can't find it.
Is there a water park in Menorca and if so where and how good is it?
There's some information on this thread Nigel
See link below
Thanks Glynis
there's a water park in calan forcat thats pretty big
Indeed there is a Waterpark in Cala'n Forcat but I would not recommend it from our point of view.
We visited with Thomsons two years ago and found it to be wanting. To cut a long story short our small son ended up splitting the side of his eye and was rushed to hospital for stitches. The waterpark was lacking health and safety.
We found many things that we brought to the attention of Thomson Holidays, who eventually gave us compensation, but to date I think they are still taking their guests there.
Our child was lucky not to have lost an eye, and only did not because he was wearing goggles. Visit by all means but beware.
Best wishes
Kirren
That probably explains why I hadn't heard about the park before - not a great advert for it, is it
When we went to this waterpark a couple of years ago we found it to be very good - only problem we had was the amount of people smoking by the side of the pool. Other than that it was a nice place.

We went to menorca in may last year, we walked many times to calan forcat as we were in the next town down, and the water park was having repairs done with it. It was closed and i think they knocked down the entrance etc but i do not know about the rides......
Theres also one in cala n bosch, not the best of water parks, but it keeps the big and little kids happy!!
is there a water park in menorca and if so where is it ?
At least 2 one in Calan Forcat and one in Calan Bosch
I've just booked a holiday in Menorca at the Son Bou Gardens in Son Bou.
Has anyone been there? I hear there are zones for the apartments that you stay in??
also, are the water parks any good for big kids and ones aged 12, 6 & 4?

We visited a very small one in son bou, which was just 3 slides into a pool, but next door there was a larger pool which was overlooked by a bar/restaurant which you could base yourself at out of the sun if it gets too hot.
thanks for that debbg
There is a larger on, which I think it is los delfines????? but I am not too sure.
