Hi all,
Just want to say a huge thank you to all of you for helping me and the boyf decide upon Goa for our holiday this year!
We have booked 2 weeks b&b at the Biera Mar apt in Baga, flying out on the 11th of march - decided upon First Choice for extra room after reading all the horror stories of Monarch!!
We arrive at 7.20am on the 12th - can anoyone recommend what we get up to on the first day? I.e, what beach hut we go and laze at!!!! Also where we can get a good goan meal from on the first night??
After that I'm all for exploring!!
However if anyone would like to show off their Baga expertise - please feel free!! Is it really Costa Del Goa?? I doubt it can be that bad, but if we are wanting to dissapear away from the bustle - any ideas?
Also if anyone wants to meet up with us (I'm 25 he's 31) for a few outings/beers/girly chats??!! Let me know! We're both Scottish and have never been to Goa before, I can't actually believe we are, it seems like a dream - and this forum has been making me gagging to go ever since I joined!!!

That's brilliant news! We fly out on the 6th so you will be there for our 2nd week. We are staying at the Riverside Guest House which is by the ugly bridge on the Baga River (you'll know the one I mean when you see it) We always use the Sqeeuze Shack on Baga Beach (eveyday
) they all know us there so ask one of them to point me out (I'll be the one glued to the sun bed almost in the sea) so we can compare what girlie things we decided to take. I am going with my Mum and Dad and 2 friends.

I'll be seeing you at the squeeze shack in 3 weeks!!! Can not wait, it's dragging already - I just want to go now!! Getting my best mate round at the weekend to help me with the packing -she's gonna be ruthless so I can buy stuff out there - we've already agreed that there will be allocated room for the ghd's (so sad, but true!!)
You'll notice me easily enough - I'll be the milk bottle white girl, with flyaway hair jumping from one shadow to the next!! haha
Actually, is it easy enough to buy sun tan lotion out there? I was also told not to bother with a towel?! I take it it'll be easily enough to buy one out there?

I always take sun tan lotion and my towel with me, so I'm not sure how easy it is to get out there or what brands are available.
My GHD's are coming with me aswell but I'm sure they won't be used again this year.
I'm getting really really exicited now.
