does anyone know how you go about paying your yearly wealth tax?? without using a abigado.?
All help greatly accepted
It would help if we knew where you had your property, valv.
I too would like to know whether it is possible to sort this out without use of a fiscal representative or solicitor. If it is advisable to use an official to deal with taxes, then what is the going rate for professional fees in Spain - Costa Blanca specifically?
OK, so this isn't about Spain .... sorry Mods ... but I just wanted to say that having professional help with my tax return in France when I first filed my declaration saved me not only the fees of the accountant but a fair bit on top, and I then learned very cheaply how to fill in my declaration and legally, which has stood me in good stead ever since.
Best get an assesoria fiscal - it doesn't matter where they are located just that you trust them. My house is near Gib but I use one near Malaga, since she also files my parent's return. I can let you have her number if you like. She charges about 40EUR per return, assuming your afairs are not complicated.
Peter that no would be great as our sol has had the cheek to try and charge 250 Euros for a 67 Euro bill All help would be great.

Are you talking about the tax you have to pay because you rent out your flat/villa/apartment etc?.
The income and wealth taxes are usually presented as one bill. Income is assessed on rental income even if the property is not let and wealth tax is on your property value.
