Hi..May can be not too bad we have found that Minorca gets slighty better weater than Majorca....might be cause less hills......we were there last week and really knocked it off..

July is invariably the hottest and sunniest month of the year in the Balearics but you'd probably want to make sure your room has air-conditioning if you go then. If you are only going for a week, having a few days of poor weather, like Fatboy did, will obviously have a bigger impact on your holiday than if you are there for a fortnight (I had the same problem in Lanzarote in April) but even though May can have the odd spell of poor weather, it still has a lot more good weather days than bad weather days.

Have a look at the website below and click on the history option to view the weather stats (sunshine hours, max temps, rain etc.) for Mahon for any month going back 10 years.

thats true robbo we went last week in may for a week it was hot for first 3days then that was it after that it was cold ,rain, and windy thats when everything shut at about 11pm and thats why we did nit enjoy our holiday so much :( :(
