just got back, tends to cloud over very quickly had 2 days of rain, thunder storms 3 times, but when sun did come out very hot
Weather tends to be unstable in BG around June/July, still steadily gettin warmer & sunnier. August is almost totally sunny, thunderstorms & showers stopping. September is quite pleasant, rarely the extreme heats of midsummer, but it could get a bit wet at times.
Cant be sure about all that in recent years, the whole climate's been goin into mess everywhere.

We've just got back from Bulgaria today and the majority of the time it has been sunny and very hot. However, today before we left, we witnessed the most torrential rain and biggest thunderstorm we've ever seen. After about 1/2 an hour it was back to being sunny again but there had also been quite a bad storm on Thursday but nothing in comparison to todays!!

My in family in law have just returned from a two week break in bulgaria. They said they had rain all holiday apart from three days! They also said it was a horrible sticky heat.

hi forum were off to sunny beach on tuesday 26th for two weeks what's the weather like has anyone just came back?were staying in bravo aptms

Just back.
We had some lovely days - in the 90's.
But we did have a couple of rainy days(thunderstorm as well). It was still warm though. We spent the days shopping, drinking and playing cards. Also took portable DVD player and bought some DVD's over there for kids to watch.

Rainy period's over for the region i reckon. Given previous years' observations, i must say August/1-st half of September are going to be very hot and sunny. Oh, and autumn is quite long and warm in BG, stretchin as far as mid November...
Friends sister is there at the moment phoned to-day lunch time and said it was sooooooo hot she could not sit out in it
