Hi liana, thanks for your reply I'm really stuck on what to do want the children to get to use the slides etc as this is why we picked it with them in mind, or we could change to August but will it fry us ( I don't mind it hot but there's hot and hot!!!) really don't know what to do never been to turkey before, thanks again :-)

August can be pretty hot with temperatures in the mid to late 30's or even early 40's at times through the day and mid 20's still at night. The pool comes in rather useful for a cool down! High factor sun cream is certainly needed, especially for the little ones. September is my preferred month as it's still hot, but the edge has been taken off.

Well it was nice and sunny at 10am and now the sky is full of clouds and wehave had a spot of rain

A bit cooler today because of the cloud cover but will pass hopefully 23 degrees in the square

Last night we had a bit of a storm with lots of lightning and today even though it is still very muggy with big clouds in the distance, Icmeler is very sunny with temperatures of 39 degrees

It started raining about 1am this morning and did so all night, woke up at 7 am to brilliant sunshine and thought I will have another hour

Black skies when I next awoke with thunder, lightning and hailstones

Temperature in the square at 12 noon was 13 degrees but the sun has just appeared now so should hopefully be ok later today

Firstly, welcome to the forums. Stayed in Kusadasi on my first two visits to Turkey ( 1997/98 ) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately have no info on where your staying. There is a search facility on the site (see the bars at the top) and you should find something there. Turkey in July ? expect anything between 35 - 45 degrees at times and I'm not joking. Hope you have a great time.

Only been to Marmaris this year will be our 3rd year in a row ...temps 40 - 50 never seen a cloud the warmest place we have ever been too ....I can never fathom why my 15 yr old son wears jeans at night I never take long trousers not a chance ....I hope you have a great time

Rained most of the night then cleared up 8ish this morning but then as I was leaving for town it started again

On and off most of the day I think

It gets a bit bright then dark clouds loom in again

I had a woman complaining to me this morning outside the office (never knew her from Adam) that she will never come to Turkey in May again, I said we have had 40+ degrees every day just the last week unsettled, also complained about price of booze, said the bars with the cheap booze were boring, don't go in them I said to which she replied well they are cheap but the bars with entertainment are dearer, O'h and she can't get flights for £30 anymore, what can you say

Anyway the photo's tell the story of the sky and temperatures down to 21 degrees but I wouldn't worry as when the sun comes back out it will be hot

only 5 weeks till we come to Kaan apartments in Siteler. Loving the daily weather reports and especially the photos
really looking forward to visiting Icmeler alot as we are coming for 3 weeks.

Does anyone know what the weather there has been like?

I know a few people who have been and said its not stopped raining and others have said its been brilliant weather, obvioulsy they cant both be right! And i never rely on weather on the internet!
