hi has anyone got married in majorca,
imy daughter wants to get married in alcudia preferably the iberstar playa de muro hotel, but if any one has any info at all it would be appreciated thanks angela
My understanding is, unless resident here, you have to be legally married in the UK before you can have a ceremony in Mallorca. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I dealt with a similar enquiry for someone wanting to get married in Pollensa recently, and this seemed to be the situation. You might want to try contacting the British Consulate and see what they say.
That was the info I received, apparently you get legally wed in the UK, and then can get a blessing in a church in Mallorca, as long as you have your certificate of marriage with you.
yes i know she is just wants the religous blessing but ive been searching the web and it seems we need a wedding planner but im concerned of the expense
Also - have you tried asking the hotel direct? Iberostars do weddings in other places.
