Hi... My hubby and I are thinking of going to Barbados (this week! our destination changes each week.....Hhahaha). We would be going in July/August.
What is it like for personnel safety over there?
My mum has heard all sorts of bad things and is trying to put us off, and I have spoken to someone who has just come back from Bougainvillea and had a great time. They have been before too!
Many thanks for any replies...
Alison
We have been to Barbados close to 15 times now and never felt threatened and we usually walk everywhere we can.
Please don't be put off by what others say. The people of Barbados are one of the nicest you can meet anywhere.
If you got any specific queries on Barbados, please feel free to ask.
Mark
have to agree with Mark- lovely people and I've never felt threatened
Can confirm Barbados is lovely, very safe and the people are fab.
Will write a review when I come round !!
Have to agree Alison with what everyone else says - we are about to go on our eighth visit, love the place and have never, ever, felt threatened, Bajan people are warm and friendly. Just use common sense as you would at home, as Mark says no flash jewellery etc and you will be fine
I would be interested to hear what you thought about ABV
