I wore 3/4 length trousers and t shirt, i took a shawl for arms, but never needed it.

Trace really anything casual goes, the temples are now very much ruins and not used as a place of worship anymore, but it is probably wise to wear a T shirt that covers your shoulders and a wide brimmed hat as the sun will be very hot in April.

You will find that if you wear anything slighly low cut the men will have a problem looking at your face and will indeed openly stare at your chest

I must stress that when you are visiting the sites please do drink plenty of water
