Hi All,
1st time to Turkey in June.
Can anyone tell me if you can use sterling in duty free at dalaman.
Welcome to the forums. You will find that you can use any currency at Dalaman Airport duty free or even a mixture of currencies ! First time to Turkey eh, you won't regret it. Where are you going and where are you staying ?
Wilson
Thanks for the info!.
We are going to the Alize in Olu Deniz.
Our 1st but going with bro/sis in-law who are Turkey veterans!.Can't wait till June.
http://www.marmarisyellowpages.com/doviz.asp make sure you know what currency you are being charges in and at what rate. All prices in duty free are in Euros.... they will convert to whichever currency as wilson has correctly said. The rate always seems to favour them though....
at the risk of incurring the mods wrath..check here first -

Use Euro's or Turkish Lira as that way you will get the proper change back after your purchase, Use anything else and you will get ripped off.
