I do recall some years ago seeing a particulary good bottle of Malt Whisky at £750. The wife said NO!!!!

Hi De Hi - they have the monopoly in the airport, so can charge anything they want.
hi de hi - it's like what happened recently when petrol duty was cut in the budget and nothing happened at the garages, less goes to the government - but there's no law to say you pay less. Like all businesses they will set the price as high as they can get away with and still get customers - have you ever seen an air side bar with no customers after about 08:00??
One of the reasons I buy my perfume in the duty free is because you can smell them etc, and I don't like it when you get to the Perfume shop you have to ask to smell things, and I always get put off, bY the immaculate groomed person behind the till, as I don't want their sells garbage, so I can do my own thing and smell whAt I want JMO
touche eclait and elizabeth arden set with 8 hour cream and sometimes a benefit makeup set. Dpends what they got really.
I always buy a couple of bottles of perfume and some makeup! It's one of my favourite parts of a holiday lol
YSL touche eclat, perfume and Clinique products if I haven't been able to get my Clinique at 'bonus time'.
Absolutely nothing!
Glad my mum didnt see it, she would be shocked, it was a dildo thermos flask, and I only found out when I opened the flask, and the dildo popped up
Hardly ever buy anything now as things like perfume I can get much cheaper on-line. I do, however, have a quick look round and a quick spray. Can't get cigarettes when flying to Europe and can get them a lot cheaper in Tunisia when going there. I used to pick up a couple bottles of whisky to 'oil the wheels' out there but don't do that so much these days because they weigh too much.
I've bought the odd bottle of perfume and hubby bought me a BabyG watch once.
on the way out we always buy a bottle of bombay saphire gin to have a little glass off on our balcony before going out in the evening (even better with freshly picked lemons from the hotel garden), on the way back unless there is something I really want we generally just spend our small change and small notes.
Mac lipgloss, clarins beauty flash balm, dior eyeshadow pallettes and my favourite perfume of the moment , sometimes I buy a nice Guess or Suzy Smith purse or swarovski jewellry
as said before...I always buy a few things its part of the holiday...epecially mac make up, as its alot cheaper than the department stores last year I got mac tinted moistiriser that had sold out in selfridges, so I always get one of there lipsticks, eybrow gel, and a mascara.(love mac make up) and always buy 2 bottles of the latest perfume that have just come out...ie Im after the new tom ford limited edition range...should be cheaper in aug when I go away...this time though I wont be buying my touche eclat as its cheaper in bodycare..
I'll be getting some more benefit make up this year (I've fallen in love with it!) I always get a perfume, well my mum and I always go half each with the perfume and share it
As i don't go out of the EU...absolutely nothing...prices are usualy cheaper in the towns
At the UK airport we never buy anything but I do enjoy browsing in the Duty Free shop and trying perfumes and creams.
I like the way I can try different perfumes that I haven't tried before because they are on stands in the open whereas many stores around where I live, the perfumes are behind counters.
In the last few years we have bought champagne as my husband's birthday comes up when we have been away. We have bought Gin but have found that we can buy it cheaper on the aeroplane.
This year I'm going to buy a decent perfume, a pair of sunglasses and chocolate. What more could a girl want?
