Hi there, if you are near 3rd beach it is in my opinion better than the main beach. It is smaller but, does not seem to get as full and there are a couple of cafes on the beach they will come to your apartment and pick you up and also drop you off again at the end of the day.

Hi Jacqui & Elaine sorry to intrude on your post I am also going to Altinkum I am going the esra aparts, think this is on the 3rd beach could you let me know your opinion and a few tips etc.

Is the main beach far from the 3rd beach? I went to turkey about 7 years ago and there was non of this picking you up from the hotel. It sounds great but do they expect anything in return? Do they aslo pick others up along the way like the dolmus. We went to Gumbet last time and the dolmus route included doing a 3 point turn in the middle of a busy street very bizzare .

Hi to you both, the esra are good apartments and the beach is just down the road from them but, when we stayed there we were always picked up and dropped off again. Just ask at reception and they call the third beach and its only a few mins when they come to get you. The esra is clean and the staff are really nice they cannot do enough for you. The main beach which is much longer than the third beach is right down in the centre of the resort it`s a 10 min walk. The resort is really nice we go again 17th sep and can`t wait. My daughter and niece plus two of their friends come with us everytime and they love the place they are 16,19,20 and 21. We have been going twice sometimes three times a year for the past 6yr.
There are loads of good places to eat but, my personal favourites are the dolunay and pinnochios which are both on the seafront.

Hi, thanks for all the info it sounds like a really nice place. I did a bit of research about the Esra apartments and they all seemed good but it's nice to hear first hand from someone who's been there. They seem quite popular.
Sadly it's going to be a long time till i see them cause we are not going till August next year. Quite sad i know, finding all the info now but it's quite exciting especially after having a boring hol in the isle of wight this year!!!
