I am thinking of hiring a villa apparently 300m from Platanes but I can't find a thing about the place on the internet.
Has anyone been there? What's it like? Is being close to it a good thing?
Please bare in mind we have young kids so a wild nightlife wouldn't be considered a "good thing"!!!

The above is a wrong link to Platanias on Skiathos. The one for Platanes east of Rethymnon is here under Rethymnon, most of the reviews are of Platanes resort area not Rethymnon....
