I used to go really mad with bags and bags of new clothes but it's taken me years to realise I don't wear half of it and normally have just a few comfy favourites out of the whole lot.

At least two new bikinis, beach bag and flip flops. I have built up quite a good holiday wardrobe over the last few years and I am getting better at knowing what to pack, i.e if I didn't wear it on my last holiday I won't take it on the next one. One thing I never pack any more is shorts and t-shirts. I prefer those cover up dress style things, loads of those in Primark at the moment so may have to invest in another one or two new ones. Just realised I have actually bought three new bikinis this year, cheepy from tesco and a couple from Next. How many bikinis do you all take on holiday?
definately new underwear, never wear a new bra for travelling in tho have to have comfort . new vests , new flip flops and new costume jewellery
Forgot about the costume jewellery Llindy. Mineone - usually 6 or 7 for 2 weeks
I always buy a new bikini. We go to spain for a week on June 15th, and I have just bought a red and gold bikini (strapless top) . I will be taking another 2 with me that I bought in Feb for our Egypt holiday. I normally buy a couple of items of clothing but I have tons of summer dresses so I'm not going to bother!
Oh it's not just me then! I also take 6 or 7 for a two week holiday. Yes, forgot about costume jewellery but tend to buy that in resort. Why do I always have to buy new white knickers? Where are the ones I bought last year? Anyone seen them?
Always buy loads of new books, I'm a real bookworm and can easily read 7 or 8 in a 2 week holiday.
Knickers too, gotta have your holiday nickers !!!
must admit, I start my ' holiday drawer' about 6 weeks before we go, you know, buying bits weekly and sticking them in me 'drawer' to spread the cost .
New white vest tops are a must too, as the previous years always have that minging yellow stain on the pits !
I have to buy a new bikini, sometimes 2 or 3 (I take about 6 for 2 weeks). Also buy, sandals/flipflops, hat and books as routine along with various other evening wear. I'm another one that takes hardly any shorts now apart from one or two in case of a trip. I've invested in a few kaftans/beach dresses this year, I think they'll be more comfy and stylish

What is it about white Tops .I've just hung a load out on the line(not just mine) and the whole lot have yellow pits even the new expensive shirt my son purchased last week for a wedding and that he only had on for 3 hours . And I remembered to spray that with shout before it went in
I have a drawer full of white cami tops that are no longer white . Which reminds me , must buy another fresh one for this year .

Thats another one I used to do before every holiday although in recent years I've swopped over to the "nude" colour ones. . I'm getting over that now as it's slowly dawned on me that I wear my bikini bottoms all day anyway and it would be a good idea not to take so many .
I don't know where they all go either , we must be leaving them all behind in our hotels rooms because I used to buy about 20 new pairs each year for 10 years .There cerainly isnt that many in my knicker drawer and i've certainly not thrown away that many of old ones .
I never use any washing liquid other than Persil bio for whites,I've been using it since it first came out and don't seem to have a problem with yellow stains even on hubby's white work t-shirts,16 yr old son often gets tomato sauce on his school shirts or t-shirts and I put them in diluted bleach then boil wash with as many whites as I can find, seems to work for me,T.
just bought a new tankini , so will be taking 6 this year hope they all the same size as i dont like the different strap marks , nearly bought a new shorts playsuit from primark only £5 choice of colours and patterns plain or spotted , but i dont do shorts
well the tankini i bought thursday i took back today and had a refund , but bought 2 others from sports direct very bright , hope i get noticed for the right reasons , also bought a twin pack of bra's from bon marche for £6, new knickers from tesco 5 pack of briefs for £1.50
Album on my Ipod.........
The only thing I can ever recall that was bought specifically for a holiday was a white jacket bought for a holiday in Monte Carlo. I mistakenly thought I would wear it at the casino. Once there I discovered there was an 80 euro entry fee and that was more then the jacket cost (£30 from TK Max). I can't think of any place in the world that is worth an 80 euro entry charge! I wore it out on evening to watch the firewworks and French man asked to borrow it so he could get into the Hotel de Paris!
I buy a lot of new things every year but determines this year not to take as much as you tend to wear the same kind of things and im going to have a look at these kaftan things rather than shorts and t-shirts for days by the pool so thank you ladies xxx
always new underwear but this year pretty much a whole new wardrobe as ive lost quite a bit of weight and everything from last year just drops off me
I tend to buy a couple new bits as i cant resist buying few bits, i like the feeling of having something new to wear on holiday, i always buy new knickers aswell unsure why as i have plenty..... and the odd bikini.
