1) The people - friendly and hospitable (if a bit cheeky sometimes)
2) The food - especially the bread and kebabs
3) The weather - I tend to go in May and Sept/Oct when it's hot but has a nice breeze and isn't sizzling
4) It's only 4 hours away. Long haul is so last season.
5) The cost. Even with rising prices it is very competitive compared to the US and those countries with the Euro
6) There is something for everyone - any age, single or married, children or not.
7) There is plenty of choice - AI, self catering, b&b, full board
A mixture of things to do - beach, forest, historical sightseeing, boat trips, jeep safaris, sports like skydiving and microlighting or horseriding9) The beer - although Efes never tastes the same at home!
10) The shopping - always a few bargains to be had
