I havent laughed so much in ages - keep em coming! This is brill

I keep laughing out loud at these posts, so hilarious. sim1 i loved yours about the rogue fireworks, good job your hubby had that beer in hand, poor woman! My hubby, always one for a bargain bought home some cheap fireworks one bonfire night all with illegible chinese instuctions. When lit they banged ferociously and whizzed around the garden chasing people, they even knew how to turn corners! We all ran around panicking and screaming. Luckily nobody got injured, we still laugh about it now.
One night in one of the shacks on Baga beach 3 of the waiters did an impromptu rendition of "we are the cheeky boys" that was pretty funny.
My hubby and i were serenaded around the beautiful lake of the MD at our candlelit table by 3 handsome Goan musicians, we were the last two dining. A magical romantic memory, bought a few little tears for me at the beauty of the place and the people.

the best evenings entertainment i've had in goa was at myonnas, just over the baga bridge and turn right and walk for about 2 minutes.
there are bands and singers that travel around india, all different nationalities, and get up on the stage and do their thing. most of them are very polished in what they do. this is not something you pay for or indeed they get proper payment for. they do pass around the bucket for you to put in a few rupees or whatever you think the show was worth. this show is on sunday nights, if you want a table you need to be there before 7-30. the food there is pretty good too.
