Its a long time since i went to Cyprus at this time of year - is it 2 hours in front? A friend is going next week. Also do they change the clocks there at the end of September - I think I remember they did when we were there but it is a long time ago

Yes, Cyprus are 2 hours ahead of the UK.
I think that the clocks go back on 29th October this year.

our mobile told us we were in Cyprus when we landed.. and while up Troodos it said welcome to Turkey.. !!!
we go to paphos in 3 weeks we will have done our clocks, so does cyprus change theirs too.if so does that mean time difference is still 2 hours thanks

Cyprus is always two hours in front of the UK. it changes time on the same day as well, always!!
