Can anyone help we're just trying to think where to go in late august/september, we've never been to Malta and I'm sure you'll be able to fill us in on what it's like,sort of things we're thinking of are,what sort of beaches,whats the best resort for middle age couple who are not quite dead and enjoy a bit of music but not clubbing!! Def. no 18-30 type places

What are the prices like for food drink etc,look forward to your replies. Cheers Carol

Hello stace1983, I would like to say Albufeira but as we are talking Malta in my view it has got to be Sliema, from here you can get to most places on the Island by bus or boat. There are some good bars with a bit of entertainment or you could take a look at paceville to see the wild side of live.
Prices like most of the Med have gone up over the last few years, but food and drink are cheaper than at home.
Its the history of the place that I think makes Malta the place that it is take a look at some of these sites or get a good guide book and see just what Malta has to over.
