We stayed in Paphos between 6th and 20th oct in 2004, weather was very hot during the day. Resort busy with everything still open. Think it got dark about 6.30-7.

Cyprus is in the Eastern Med and never stays light late, even now it is dark at 8.30pm but the temp stays hot even then! October is a nice time of the year here, but with the chance of thunderstorms, but these never hang around for long, it does get dark at 6ish and it cools down also, look for day temps in the mid to high 70's night time 65f or there abouts, you can sleep ok in October with no need for A/C unlike at the moment....I am sure you will have a great time..

I know... hot during day.. enough to sunbathe?.. no sign of rain... but a little cooler (in fact some would say more pleasant) in the evening...
