Generally pretty hot, around mid-80s. Seems to differ every year, but storms are not uncommon. This past year, there was some poor weather from around the middle of September, but I've known others to be more or less clear of rain.

Sounds like you might want a fairly lively resort. PalmaNova/Magaluf, Alcudia, perhaps Cala Bona. Bit more sedate but nice - Puerto Pollensa. I guess the resort reviews on this site should give you some guidance.

The thing I would add is that even if it does storm, it normally clears up reasonably quickly and you're back to good and hot weather. Sure you'll enjoy Alcudia.

bsully,we have been to majorca a few times in september and the weather has always been great,apart from one year when alcudia the heavens opened badly for literally 10 mins then after that you would of never of known as it was scorching again.prices are better sept as well.we late fortys and just booked for cala de majorca 12sept got a fantastic deal all inc. with xl.com nearly half the price of first choice,thomas cook etc,for the same deal.i suggest to check them out.
by the way we like our booze to.hehe
