I booked my flights tonight for Aug 08 and also booked my accomodation, got 2 weeks 1 bedroom apt in Marmaris for £190 total price. That along with our flights at £140,am fair chuffed with my bargain!

Where did you end up booking ju-ann? Just curious, as I need to book accommodation too and considering Olu Deniz but cant make up my mind lol

We returned from the Karbel last friday and it was lovely, have just emailed them about August next year as we want to book the suite that we had this year, the room was fab!

Did you book the Karbel? And also, what price did you get?

Sarong, we LOVED Olu, and the Karbel was fab, as the reviews here will testify for, Ive just posted ours, but it really was a nice place. They have bought the White hotel next to it, so there is now an additional pool etc and extra rooms, although you can book with the White Hotel direct too, but great place, location and the hotel is lovely!

Thanks Karen, I did check out the reviews after reading your comments. We have been to Calis Beach many times, not sure whether to return or stay in Olu for a change. We have never been in the school hols, usually May or October, and Calis has been quiet, plus we usually stay in small family run apartments where there havent been many children around. I think the kids would like to stay somewhere where there are more children around, so Olu looks good for that depending on the hotel.

If anyone comes up with any prices for next year, let me know. I'm not in too much of a hurry to book as there is plenty of time, plus my husband is still in America, he doesnt even know I have booked the flights yet lol I know he wont mind, he knows how I love Turkey and we havent been since 2005 as we went to Florida last year, and a cheap week in Spain this year. I didnt mind the Florida trip, but really put out that we have to go to Spain. Still, I now have Turkey booked and will take great pleasure in researching prices and hotels till the cows come home!

I will let you know when I hear back from the Karbel as to their prices . Ive asked them to quote for a normal room, as well as the suite which we stayed in last week.

Charges are the same as they are for this summer which is £32.00 per night per twin room for two people bed and breakfast in July/August. If you upgrade to a suite this is an additional £20 per night

(we had a suite when we stayed there so had king size bed, sofa and jacuzzi bath etc which was fab!)

But thats the prices anyway

Hi Pam, its a little bit early for accommodation only prices for July 08, but some sites do have them, http://www.travelrepublic.co.uk and http://www.otbeach.com have some prices but I would wait until July/August and check again.

you could also try Lowcostbeds, that's where i booked my accomodation for next year, prices are fantastic!

as briar has said just try emailing the type of accomadation you require they would be stupid not to take early bookings

well how do i get hold of the email addresses to mail them.

i have never done d i y before thats why im doing lot of home work on hotels.
