You do tend to find that the smaller independent companies produce their brochures much later than the big mass-market ones. I'm surprised that THG haven't got their brochure out yet for next year though, since they are part of the ubiquitous TUI group who also own Thomsons and Airtours amongst many others, so they're not exactly a minor company, just a minor-ish subsidiary of a massive corporation.

You don't say where you want to go, but you could try looking at Premier Holidays whose latest Faraway brochure goes up to December 2007 and who also specialise in tailormade holidays. We're taking our 4th holiday with them next year and can highly recommend them.

Assuming you are thinking of the Far East...the reason they are telling you to wait is that the flight prices will not have been released yet...most companies will be tailor making using scheduled airlines. Often you can book further ahead with the likes of Kuoni. Once prices are out though I would book up pretty quick, as Xmas fills up fast and the cheaper flights soon go.

If you are thinking of Thailand then MyTravel and Thomson are doing holidays that way and will have prices out based on their charters.

Sorry I should have said we were looking at having 3 or 4 days in Bangkok then going to Karon Beach on phuket for about 10 days If we do it with a tailor made company it will be better than package.

It doesnt matter who you do it with, the flights won't be released for sale until 330 days before departure, so you need to wait until it's 11 months before your date of return.

Well we ended up booking cruise with Superstar Gemini and stay at The Seaview hotel in Patong.
