its my partners birthday on 31st december. we have been away to tunisia and lanzorote.(stayed in the uk the last two years. absolute rubbish)has anyone any ideas or recomendations. was thinking about morroco??

We went to Fuerteventura last New Year. At midnight we went to the square in Correlejo to join the locals and other holidaymakers celebrate and wish others a happy New Year. There was also fireworks on the beach. The weather was still warm but at night was very breezy. You can also visit Lanzarote for the day. We had a great time and would return.

I went to Barcelona last New Years Eve - loved it so much that we have booked and are going back this year too! Also went there in August for a little break - I love it.

Tenerife is wonderful at Christmas, lots to do lots of entertainment and best of all the sun!. We have had the last two years there, the fireworks on New Years Eve were tremendous you could see them going off for miles.

Thanks for your reply, but the question I asked was last year 2004. We went to Valencia for Christmas then got the train back to Barcelona for New Year we had a lovely time there. Had a great meal New Years Eve at the Marina we even ate outside. We have been going to Barcelona for Christmas for 4 years, but this year maybe something different. We may go to Cyprus for Christmas and New Year, we shall see. I love Barcelona it is my favourite City. Some friends have just been to Prague for a weekend and enjoyed it very much. Where are you off to next.
