Any inspiration on this one would be great. We fancy a few days away with the children inbetween Christmas and New Year, something exciting for them that will really catch the spirit of the time of year.

I have already looked at New York, a combination of leaving it 'late' and the time of year makes it a bit too expensive to be justifiable. Quite fancy Eurodisney by Eurostar, although my husband will take some convincing on that one as we've been 3 times already although not at Christmas, also it is still to early to get Eurostar quotes.

I have also looked at Lapland, but packages are either before Christmas or the duration after is longer than we have. We are also going skiing Feb half term for the first time, so it would be different I know but in some respects too similar.

Any ideas? duration will be probably need to be no more than 4 nights- no preferences on travelling time.
