We visited Benalmadena last easter ( 24 March), we stayed at the Bali and used Easyjet for our flights. We had a fantastic time and plan to go again next year.The Bali was fantastic a few kids about anda bit of entertainment on night and day, the food was to die for( see my review)

We liked Benalmadena because there was plenty for our 6 year old son to do and because it was between Torrremolinos and Fuengorola.
We were very busy all week, he`s some of the things we did to give you an idea if it`s suitable for you.

We visited Gibraltar and took the cave and apes tour.
We went to the Dolphin Marina.
We went on the train to Both Torremolino and Fuengorola.
We went to the carboot one day and the market.
The marina is fantastic and we visited several times during our holiday.

I see you have a sep post about weather, we had fantastic weather last year but we have visited southern Spain 4/5 times at easter and the weather can be a bit mixed, some days you can sunbathe others it`s a bit chilly, poolwise if the kids are brave they`ll be in the water but we never have bothered as we`ve been too busy. At nighttime we normally take a jacket but we found last year we never needed one in fact we sat on the balcony at midnight without.

We prefer going away when it`s not too hot as you get to see more and the heat isn`t overbearing.
