El Paso just outside of the theme park (five mins walk) is a good 4 star, but it could be too family orientated for some.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I was all set to book Sol Costa Daurada last night but I might wait for the latest review. Have got the three nights HB for 134euros. We're not too bothered about the standard of the food as we will more than likely eat out every evening. Cannot book the Dorada Palace the through the websites I've beeen lookin at so that's it out. We are purchasing 3day passes to the theme park and this is our main reason for visiting Salou, so for comfotable accomodation nearby do you think the Sol Costa Daurada would be suitable?

I stopped at the Villa Romana last year and would definatly reccomend it. The Salauris Palace Hotel next door also looked excellent.

Zippy I can also recommend the Villa Romana, well located especially for Port Aventura and very nice.
