Best look on the map and find which is situated where YOU want to be

http://www.goredsea.com/en_gomaps+1-0-redseatravelguide.aspx

click on Sharm at the bottom of the peninsula and you get an interactive map of the area

then you can see which hotel presses the right buttons for you

I would suggest go for the Beach Albatros. It has a beach on Moya Bay near the old town so that you are not right out in the middle of nowhere. It is much older than all the others but reasonable in service standard and food and - if you are travelling end of November - has the more sheltered beach.

The Mexicana and Three Corners are not on the beach. The others are at Nabq.

I'd recommend the Beach Albatross too. Great views across the bay and plenty of water activities available. Food reasonable for A/I and the height of "quirkiness" is getting into a lift to go down to the beach! All in all, great value for money. Very handy for Old Sharm too where you will find loads of shops, bars and restaurants.

The Calimera Royal Albatross is actually the Calimera Royal Moderna it is in Nabq at the far end of Sharm and is right on the beach. Its All Inc system is one of the better ones in Sharm as you can get food 24 hrs a day.

This hotel is right on the beach and also offers a shuttle bus service to a quiet section of the same beach if you want it.
