How about Turgutreis on the Bodrum Peninsula?

I hope Turgetreis is nice as that's where my wife and I are going in September (actually it's Akyarlar which is just a few miles from Turgetreis). We're staying at a little 2 star hotel called Bizimtepe Hotel and the reviews on trip adviser are fantastic and I've emailed the owner a couple of times with some questions and he's really helpful. It's nice and cheap too, cost me less than £700 for both of us and this includes flights, luggage, shuttle transfer, airport parking & travel insurance - I booked with travel republic back in January.
