Personally I would think Sharm. Have been to Lanzarote and Sharm in December and did not see a cloud all week in Sharm.

I went to Tenerife in Jan of this year, and it was lovely weather during the first part of the week, red hot, but the end of the week started to be overcast, but still very warm.

I came back with a nice tan, but then again my friends say ive only got to look at the sun and i will get a nice tan, suppose im lucky lol.

It was also still quite busy.

I would recommend Tenerife, as you can get cheap flights with Ryanair, and cheap and decent apartments.
