Have any of you been to Portugal in October? How is it weather wise? Flights seam reasonable just wonder if it is worth considering.
Thanks
Ditto the above.
I am going to Tavira in October and have had a look at the weather for then it seems the Max Temp is 23c=73f, Min Tem is 14c=57f with about 7 hours of sun. sea temp is 20c but there could be 8 days of rain just hope its not the days we are there.
If I do get there I will put a few reports up if I can find some free wifi, will look in one 4 the road when the quiz is on one night, I could be the only one in Albufeira as no one else round here seems to be going this week.
So I may be back on Thursday night or it could be in two weeks or even the odd post now and then, but one thing is for sure I will have a great time with lots of good food and plenty of Portuguese wine one or two beers and may be even a song on the Karaoke.
Full hotel and resort report when I get back.
Dave.
Have a great time, Dave!

I "winter" in Portugal from Oct to May and have done for the past 6 years. Generally the October weather is in the mid 20s and dry. The further west you are there is a greater likelihood of windy weather. I go to Praia da Luz which is in the west and the breeze is something I like
Roseweb, it should be George in Portuguese the one above Pingo Dose across from Brisa Sol apartments, were we are staying. Still having a nice time noticed Perry doing his quiz the other night as we went home.
well I am back, we had a great time, meet some nice people had some great food and lots of beer, wine, sangria and a few cocktails. May be a few weeks before I put up any reports as we are moving house on Friday so will have a lot to do to sort it out. Broadband will not be on till Tuesday, but we are looking forward to our next holiday to Tavira in 12 weeks. Roll on.
Glad you had a good time Dave good luck with your move & see you back on here soon
