we were going to miss out on goa this time, but, we got a good deal from "coop travel shops" and we are going to go in december. :glynis even though we have a holiday booked for cuba in march. WE ARE AS THEY SAY THESE DAYS, "MADE UP". :pele :sun can't believe we got such a good deal, but most importantly, we're going to goa!!! and what is more, we can't wait!!
98 days to go, seems like a lifetime, hopefully it will slip away un-noticed.
for anyone new to goa, whatever you think of it when you first see it, that won't be your lasting impression !! :yikes
i actually don't know of anyone who only went there once. (exept those on there first visit) but they will almost certainly go again.

still can't wait though BOB

Do you know Bob, the only one I know who went once and said never again is my brother, ask who has just booked for 2 weeks in February :D and who phones me on our very rare sunset evenings here playing his Goan sunset CD's
Its not a holiday, its a way of life, whether two weeks, a year, or six months its a very special place to be :)

I fell in love with Goa as soon as i stepped off the plane. even on the plane the atmosphere was vibrant and different to your usual crowd on a european flight.
sadly i lost my dad in Goa in 2005, while fishing in Anjuna. But falling in love with Goa as my dad after spending half of his life there as given me so many memories and also helped me on my road to recovery. The people, the atmosphere, everything down to the smell appeals to me and i've never met so many interesting and happy people.

I think about Goa everyday and plan to go every year, roll on January 25th 2008 - cant wait much longer. :D

Glad you liked it - I often wondered how you got on.

Thanks Fiona, I think we could all do with a bit of a reminder of the special things we have found in Goa. It's been rather gloom and doom reading the forum lately and I for one am looking forward to going back on Saturday (as long as the rain holds off that is :que ) and I have everything crossed that I still find the Goa that I so love.
