HI All,
Im quite worried about the weather. I go to Palma Nova on Saturday and im extremely worried about the weather. Its the first time im going with my daughter who's 18mths old and whilst i didnt want the weather to be scorching hot im worried tis going to be a washout.
I have been speaking to friends who have only just returned and they said that the weather was extemely mixed and some days sunbathing was out of the question. Now if it was just myself and my partner going then it would be fine but i was hoping to keep the lil one occupied on the beach which obviously i cant do if its pelting it down with rain. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what else we could do if the weather is bad, something which would keep two 18mth olds occupied. Any suggestiuons would be great as my sisters partner mother who owns a bar in magaluf says that they have been told that the weather is going to get worse over the next week or so.
loads of arcades around, Pirates show in the afternoon, The House of KAtmandu briliant sa well and i think its 15 euros each but your daughter would be free
When it rains when we go cos it aways does in August there is alwasy this amazing electric storm which goes on for a couple of days - we alwasy just end up exploring the island getting the local bus somewhere and then we find its not raining there yet - i am sure you wil have a bril time over there
We had about 5 sunny dry days out of 14, and ran out of things to do!!!
We went to the Pirates, sat in Mr Beans while the kids played on the machines, and we caught up with emails
Our apartments had a small park (outside) and games inside, but I am glad we bought some dvd's for them to watch in the apartment.
Now if we had found an indoor pool, they'd have been happy.
I am sure things will pick up now, as I was told if they have a good March, May will be wet.
This is for Palma though, not far away!!

I wouldn't worry about the weather, you can't do anything about it, just pack an umbrella and a cagoule just in case!
Hoping it stays nice for you - but not too hot!
I really just wanted to know of any activities which cuold keep the lil one occupied more than anything else.
